Yufan Xie
Yufan Xie, multi-disciplinary designer and artist practicing at the intersection of architecture, computational design and audio-visual, focusing on the decision-making process and behavioral function behind
multi-sensory narratives and body-space interactivities via sonification, visualization and materialization.
Since 2019, Yufan focuses on audience-oriented performance narrative and spatialized musical system, to
enable potential scenes driven by spatial audio and new
forms of interactive music. Projects including The Unknown Cities, GAP+, Acoustic Garden, Maelstrom have
been featured at UABB (Shenzhen Bi-City Binnale),
BMAB (Beijing Media Art Binnale), Shenzhen MoCAUP,
SUSAS(Shanghai Urban Space Art Season), A+D Museum Design Awards, Shanghai Digital Futures(CDRF).
